We recommend that you create a standard toolbox for all of your creative jewelry work. It should include the following items:
1. Single or multi-strand flocked gray bead board 2. 12 part storage box for sorting beads 3. .018 flexible wire-which comes in spools of 30 ft., 100 ft. or 1000 ft. 4. Jewelers tools: Needle nose pliers, rosary or internal pliers and good, sharp wire cutters 5. Big eye needles-TIP: Have several BIG EYE needles on hand, they are such wonderful needles you will wear them out! 6. Nymo thread-white and black, available in approximately 3000 yard spools or smaller bobbins. Sizes A through D. 7. Jewelry glue-useful for loose rhinestones. 8. Quick glue-just a touch of quick glue can save your life sometimes! 9. Adequate lighting. We use an OTT-LiTE True Color Lamp which helps to see details and match colors clearly. It also reduces eye strain. Check your local bead or craft store for various styles. Magnifier lamps are also available.

TOOLS
Your jewelry toolbox should include Flat Nose Pliers, Rosary (or Internal Pliers) and a good pair of wire cutters. Titanium wire cutters, although expensive, are a worthwhile investment. If you are on a budget, there is no need to invest in tools specifically made for jewelry. Your hardware store carries tools that are adequate for the work. Buy tools that are comfortable in your hand. I prefer the shorter, foam-covered handles. Look for delicate cones on your Rosary pliers. The refinement will help you make even the smallest loops
