Hello again
I've started this new style earring wire designs, and what i use ( im sure its no secret ) is the metal peg board I’ve created out of simple nails and a piece of wood. It works wonders for me, but i have a question on the type of wire i should use. I use half-hard or soft 15 gage wire, but not sure what the recommended gauge and wire type used for such projects is. Any help from anyone would be wonderful.
Thank you all :P

hi mary
well, i use 16 or 18 gauge wire preferably 1/2 hard, i guess you would want to use a bit harder wire because you would want your wire to never move or nudge around and loose its design. it will be a little harder to work with because it is harder wire, but that is what i think.
hope that helps somewhat

Hello all.
Thank you for your posts.
I believe Margot is correct, using a mid range wire is not only easier to twist and turn, but will stay snug and not move around. Go with a 16 17 or 18. We should be getting some of these wires soon, so check back with us. Thank you
