how to get a cheap jewelry

Hello all-
Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I have a limited budget. We check the Jewelry classifieds everyday, but have not found anything so far, so we would like to hear some opinions on locating & pricing for a diamond between 1.25 - 1.5 that has an eye visible inclusion, that can be fully hidden by a prong. I would like something with an H or better color, and a good cut.

My cousin & her husband were able to do this and dramatically lower their spend...since the flaw was so visible before the diamond was set. How difficult would it be to duplicate this process...any suggestions on how to find a diamond dealer to help us? Thanks
